Only in Calgary...

It's October, we have 6" of snow on the ground, it's gross out. I want it to be nice, a seasonal +10. What I don't want is to see Christmas shit around (there is a reason why I'm going to Jamaica for the holiday) and to see asshats in the dry cleaners. Two things I experienced today. Fuck you Calgary.

Eff you winter

So today is the first day of real snow fall in Calgary. It's balls. I've rebelled and stayed in. Leaving the house only for the a hipster brunch and going to Safeway for 700 airmiles. Yes, I'm that much of a loser. Anyways, I didn't see anything of much note on my adventures today, so I need to thank my friend and get husband for trekking out in the snow and capturing this.... Note the socks!

Missing Toronto

It's not often that I miss being back east in Ontario. Sure there are days when I might miss friends and family, but damn I love my life in Calgary! But this morning I got hit squarely in the face with a check out what you're missing by living in Calgary picture! My good friend from University, Dirty D, sent me this gem of an outfit. Hot damn it's fabulous and for a few short seconds I wished I was living back in Ontario. And then the moment passed!

Fall is in the air...

I hiked from Amalfi to revallo today, it was hell. When we got there though, man it was beautiful. There were some amazing sites and great people watching. I didn't snap any pics from my iPhone today, but here is one from my hotel!

Labour day mullets

The pictures of this mullet do not do it justice, but I got busted taking the pics so you'll have to deal.

This ass hat had his hat off and it was like WHOA MULLET!!!! My friend pointed it out to me in my drunken lone wolf state. I chased him down to get a picture. He say me lunging after his head with my camera. Luckily I'm fast on my feet and was able to score a picture with him, unfortunately he put his hat back on. Sad panda :(

Birthday shorts

So it's my boyfriends birthday next week and while debating possible birthday gifts for him, I thought to myself, maybe he would like a new pair of shorts... Cougar hunting at Starbucks

So I'm getting my morning nonfat latte, still half asleep and kind of grumpy, typical Wednesday morning... And then this happened :)

Broad walks in wearing this! It's 7:30 in the morning, she works in an office, she looks to be pushing 50. All. Around. Awesome. Thank you Calgary for letting this be work appropriate! I should also add that her shirt fell down and I saw her normal bra with straps tucked in to make it strapless. I love cougar whores.....

I was walking back to the office after lunch with some coworkers and almost fell off the sidewalk when I spotted an epic hot pink dress that was painted on this dumb broad. She was wearing a black cover over it that looked like my cats had shredded it worse than my couch. She was obviously trying to make it office appropriate. Whore! I went to grab my phone to document this for you, my readers, only to realize that I left my god damn phone on my god damn desk. That's what I get for texting instead of working all morning. Epic fucking fail Hannah :(
